ABOUT
THE ARTIST
Dropped on his head at an early age, Andrew's destiny was
set. He would become a cartoonist. His childhood was
tirelessly dedicated to watching and reading his favorite cartoons,
which in turn inspired creations of his own. Meanwhile, the
other, more well-balanced children played outdoors and engaged in
social activities.
With no formal training to speak of, Andrew is an entirely
self-taught artist, and perhaps his work testifies to that.
While he has been blessed to obtain the occasional freelance gig,
art is not what currently pays the bills. For the time being
it is mostly just a passion and a hobby. But who knows, maybe
that freelance thing will continue to expand.
Besides art, Andrew has a variety of mostly geek-friendly interests,
including movies, books, They Might Be Giants, and writing about
himself in the third person.
ABOUT STUDIO BUENO
Studio Bueno is named after the cartoon dog who
inadvertently became the site's mascot sometime around 2002.
Currently it's more or less just a showcase for whatever random art
or comics Andrew decides to share. He hopes to one day settle
on an idea and produce a regular web comic. Once the web comic
takes off, he'll just sit back and wait for the money and accolades
to pour in.
